They're population isn't climbing into middle class. The communist state will always have a perpetual underclass it requires a large underclass to function by nature. Taxing our citizen isn't going to change anything in China and is only redistributing money from the working class to the business class, republicans are supposed to be against redistribution. If we really wanted to deal with China and their currency manipulation we would just ban imports from China, but since they buy our debt and we spend like drunken sailors that's not an option. But saying we have to tax imports from ___ country so that products made domestically are competitive is using the federal government to equalize what the free market is supposed to decide. You want domestic manufacturing we have to deal with the unions, regulations, and over taxation not add on additional taxes.
