Yes if China is so horrible and we all the sudden have found a reason to be upset about stop them from importing here period. Instead we want to go half way and raise taxes, those taxes are not going to harm China theyre not paying them we are. Unless your arguing to raise the taxes to the point the price is beyond the markets ability to pay, which in that case why the hell would we let them import goods in the first place? And it's ridiculous to think private enterprise is going to undercut prices when government is creating higher prices. Just look at healthcare the moment you introduce government oversight on anything the price always skyrockets.
