I want someone whose ideas are feasible, that wont have back lash. Although they are all full of [BAD WORD REMOVED], some of the rhetoric is hard to accept. 

For example..his plan to make mexico pay for the wall...it'll be through tariffs. That will increase prices. So its opposite of taxing people more, they will just pay more..and actually I dont mind paying more for home products, but wages will have to go up. Hes against that. So all this making everything great again is smoke and mirrors.

Id like a hybrid..one who will curtail worldwide handouts, Focus on America. Rand Paul was close. 

When I ask most people with families their concerns and priorities..many want a good education for their kids, health care that wont bankrupt them and decent paying jobs...more jobs at min wage dont mean squat

Actually, it seems like Trump and Sanders have more in common than Trump does with his own party...against the wars,for healthcare,education,against trade agreements..nafta,tpp..so he has some attributes that even Jerry Falwell Jr likes...and we all know how great he is

 

But you say you dont care, so with minds being made up a good half year before an election, why discuss any short comings a candidate may have? 

One thing few can argue. He has fractured the GOP ...badly.And whether I like the guy or not, what his own party is trying to do tells me where the big problem in DC is, and their actions are despicable and as dirty politics as Ive witnessed.

Many blame Sanders for the recent demonstrations at Trump rallies...uh huh...dont think the "establishment" who is out to take him down may be in on it as well? 

 

For once, you and I pretty much agree about a lot of things.  As an example, the first bold part of your quoted post is what I've been trying to express now for a while.  Trump/Sanders supporters think that if their guy wins, all of the things that you listed (in the case of Trump) will happen.  In the case of Sanders supporters, they think that they will instantly get their "free stuff".  In my opinion, both campaigns are pretty much "Hope and Change v2.0".  It's all about what their supporters want to hear rather than a realistic vision for how they will lead the country.

 

Regarding the second part in bold of your comment, that is very much true up to the point that is underlined.  Donald Trump is not really part of the Republican Party, and doesn't really stand for traditional republican/conservative views.  Really, he is a democrat running as a republican.  He's not running because his core belief is "making America great again", he is running for the prestige that goes along with the title.  It's all about him, not the country.

 

I agree with you that yes, he has fractured the GOP, but where I disagree with you is that his "own party" is trying to take him down.  That's not the case at all.  I really do believe that the remaining GOP candidates really care about the country and want to actually SERVE the country and do what is best for all.

 

I do think that eventually Trump will go down and end up running as an independent.  I do acknowledge and believe that the right wing (GOP) will not allow him to "represent" their interests.  The same can be said about the left.  Hillary is going to be the nominee, whether or not Bernie Sanders continues to win states.  The "Super Delegates" will assure that.

 

It's going to get ugly, especially after tomorrow.

 

I've made it no secret that I have liked and supported Marco Rubio throughout this campaign.  I have also stated that Ted Cruz was a strong second choice of mine.  At this point, I would even back John Kasich as the representative for my party.  If the polling is correct and Rubio doesn't do well tomorrow, then my full support is behind Ted Cruz and/or John Kasich.  If it comes down to a Trump vs. Hillary or Trump vs. Bernie Sanders Presidential election, I probably for the first time will not vote because it would be the downfall of our country as I know it.
