What Blake needs to do is learn to read the defenders better and cut out the silly mistakes. There were a few games last season when he threw an early interception, or started slow with mistakes, then fired in the yards and TDs later in the game. If he can keep the silly mistakes to a minimum, and let's face it some of them bad throws last season were silly mistakes, then with that side of his game reduced to a minimum that will be a step in the right direction and we will see better stats and overall performances from Blake.


I'm not overly concerned about the INTs. Brett Favre was a great QB and he had seasons with late teens of INTs or even over 20 INTs. Anothe HOF QB, Dan Marino, had four seasons of 20+ INTs and four seasons of late teen INTs. Both of those teams were generally play off teams and contenders. So as long as Blake is throwing the ball a lot, there is a chance of INTs, and all he has to do is cut out the silly mistakes and bad starts to games, and show that prolific nature he can have late in games nearer the beginning. If he does that, we'll win a lot of football games with Blake Bortles as our QB.


For me, I think we'll see another big season from Blake and hopefully his INT count will be mid to low teens.
