We all love Bobby Bowden, right? Well, he wasn't exactly Mr. Disciplinarian was he? But he had an engaging personality and aw shucks demeanor so he got by with it. (I'm an FSU grad and thought Bobby was cool, but let's not kid ourselves.)

 

College football is now big business, as you are well aware of, so I don't think we should be surprised that we see some of the same behavior we see in all types of business settings.

 

All that being said, there are still honest and honorable people in college athletics. Just don't push them too hard toward those ethical boundaries. They'll do what most of us would - whatever they have to.
