Hypothetical Queston - NCAA Tourney - 1 and done OR NIT Champ

#3

Quote:If I was in that situation,  the NIT option probably would be more appealing.  Having the experience of winning a tournament in Madison Square Garden to close out your College Basketball eligibility,  after previously experiencing the NCAA Tournament,  would be a good way ( relatively speaking ) to move on to the next part of your life.

I kind of agree.  As a player, you get to play for an extra month and go out with a 5 game winning streak.

As a fan, I'm almost on the other end of the spectrum that's why I threw in a UF/FSU loss to Florida Gulf Coast.  Does that disappointment totally spoil the concept to making the NCAA Tourney?
