The only reason Paul Ryan is in the news so much is because as The House Majority Leader he has the job of chairing the convention. Just pure speculation on my part, but I would think that a brokered convention will lead to perhaps Marco Rubio, John Kasich or Jeb Bush to the nomination. You have to remember who exactly you're dealing with here. It's the republican side of the establishment. There is a slight chance that perhaps they might choose Ted Cruz, but it's a very slight chance (at this point). I can almost assure you that they will not pick Donald Trump. There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't. |
