I think him cutting about 15 lbs. (to around 255), getting better training/conditioning, and some better coaching can help a lot here.
 

That's the intriguing part of his game, as his 3 cone showed he should be able to bend the edge, so Stephen was thinking the reason why he didn't do it consistently was because of his getoff.
