^^ Good post. This is very true (I certainly agree with you).

However, the knowledge that there are planetary zones elsewhere in the universe that may produce similar conditions of life as ours strengthens the idea of extraterrestrial "intelligent" life IMO.

We know the conditions that we need here are possibly replicated similarly elsewhere in these zones.

It is very true that other life may need different conditions that we do not even realize is possible. But in this case, we can also go by what we know, and it looks likely that these known conditions are probable.
