I should have immediately realized there was another QB from the 6th Round who I would classify as having a pretty good career: former Lions QB Rodney Peete who was in the same draft class as Barry Sanders. Unfortunately, Peete often was injured. Ironically, Peete's worst game was one in which Barry Sanders was sidelined with an injury, which was an exception to the rule in Barry's 10 year career. The ironic part of the equation relates to the Jaguars, as future Jaguars HC JDR had 3 interceptions in that game. Peete was benched after that game and never played another game for the Lions.
