2nd Round Safeties

Karl Joseph, absolutely. This guy is awesome and before FA I was all for a Jack-Joseph combo in first 2 rounds.
But after FA we still have pass rusher, linebacker and offensive line who need help and if we (hopefully) go Jack in the first round I highly doubt we'll go safety in the second considering we got Gipson. we can't count just on Fowler at DE and I see them going that direction in the second. Plus, if a Center like Ryan Kelly or a Joshua Garnett are there you have to take them as you'd fix the interior of Oline for good without moving Linder away from his position.(well you would with Garnett but it's worth it) The Jack-Joseph combo would have been amazing though, so much speed added to our defense and Joseph would have paired up perfectly with Gipson. |
