Let me put it this way; how is Houston doing with their elite superstar DE (JJ Watt) and no QB?
Pound for pound, a good QB gets your team farther than any single good defensive player. Period. Yes, I know the Broncos just won, but Manning while he may not be what he once was, is still Peyton Manning. Miller did not carry that team - they had a LOADED defensive 11. So, if you would trade a franchise QB for ANY defensive player of any caliber...enjoy spending the next 3-6 years hoping you find a QB before your shiny new DE leaves his prime. |
