Yes. It was the offer on the table when thevdecision was made to shut down the government. In other words EXACTLY WHAT I SAID!!!


I still remember being stunned when the Democrats didn't go along with that proposal. After the initial attempt to repeal Obamacare I thought that the common sense compromise would have been a delay or an abolition of the individual mandate because it was something the right would feel comfortable with.
