I still remember being stunned when the Democrats didn't go along with that proposal. After the initial attempt to repeal Obamacare I thought that the common sense compromise would have been a delay or an abolition of the individual mandate because it was something the right would feel comfortable with.

1. You're right you did say the 1 year delay was the final offer. It was Malabar that inferred from your post that the delay was the first offer. Thus proving that your writing is sometimes confusing and needs work. :-) Lol. Just kidding, my bad. I confused your post with Malabar's.


2. In Regards to your thoughts on how the democrats negotiated this shut down, I refer you to my parable about sushi.


Again my whole point is that lying Ted used an obvious non starter issue for the democrats as a slimey political ploy to get attention for a presidential run. And working class Americans got the shaft for his quixotic gesture. The dude is scum, and is clearly no friend to Americans.
