Whether or not you agree with Obama care is irrelevant to the discussion. Plus I'm so tired of debating the merits of Obama care. The fact is, Medicare for all its what I think is the right policy for health care.

Its not a deflection. Your position is that Ted Cruz is a narcissist because the demands he made were so unreasonable that they lead to *shock* a government shutdown *shock.*


I simply stated that in matter of fact that when it was understood that repeal wasnt going to get signed there was a good faith compromise put forth to delay the individual mandate and eliminate the medical device tax. Essentially adopting in whole the position of then senator barrack Obama when he ran for president and saving millions of working Americans from the most regressive form of taxation in the tax code!


The white house rejected there own past position. Why? Because they knew they would win the PR battle in a government shutdown and not have to make the concession.


Its the same reason they wrote in the obamacare donut hole (gap between Medicaid and exchange subsidies) and tried to ban subsidies from states that didn't expand Medicaid. They wanted to blackmail republican governors and say shut up and get in the Soviet VW bruh.


These people don't care about u. They care about power and getting what they want. Suffering of their supporters is subordinate to the "GREATER GOOD" of their egos.
