Just an fyi....the amount of things that have to be done to get into an ivy league school are pretty tough.  They have many of the attributes business is looking for.

 

I think you just have a hard time accepting us disagreeing. Simple as that. 

 

So if a Harvard grad demands to be paid a yearly salary 200k, a UF grad 150k, and a FSU grad 125k, but the FSU grad interviews better and seems like a more qualified candidate (fit) with the company,and more articulate and is able to adjust in the work environment, who do you go with?

 

Its more than just the school you graduated from.

 

I know people who are OVER-educated with BA's and Master degrees and are just retail store managers or low level IT programmers. You want to know why? because they dont have the interpersonal skills to match in the job market today.

 

Just because someone (not all) has a degree from an ivy league school dose not equate them to being potentially the hard worker, that someone from a smaller university/school can become, or is what the company is looking for.
