If Jalen Ramsey is there at number 5 I dont see anyone aruging that he isn't the pick considering how horrible the Jaguars have been at DB for the past several years... sure they signed FS Tashuan Gipson & CB Prince (only a one year deal & he gets injured often), not to mention Aaron Colvin is already suspended at least four games for substance abuse (and you can never tell if they've learned from their mistake or will be an addict.. like Justin Blackmon)..
At first people were saying Joey Bosa is going to be like JJ Watt.. now others have backed off a bit and said Jared Allen (which is also fantastic to have by the way)... with Jalen Ramsey some say he could be the Jaguars Earl Thomas in their defensive scheme.. and the fact that GM Dave Caldwell & HC Gus Bradley had mentioned how hard it is to find a ball hawking FS (if you feel Gipson is the answer than you can only look at him as a corner but maybe he will be the Jaguars Richard)? |
