we went from Red Bryant to Odrick

Dekoda Watson/JT Thomas to Skuta (a "real" otto)

Alan Ball to Davon House

Josh Evans to Sergio Brown


all those guys were presented to us as "upgrades"... our defense got even worse



To be fair here, Gipson and Malik play vital positions and were among the best available in FA. Feel guys like that will likely bring a bigger impact than guys like sergio brown and Dan Skuta lol. I like Skuta but he's more of an ideal rotational piece.
