DE's have a higher ceiling in general and the franchise has lacked a premier DE in decades.

That being said, DE's are harder to find and are highly dependent on the system. I think the smart and safe move is to draft Jack unless you get a great offer. He's got a great ceiling and floor.

LB's play more snaps than DE's. This defense needs better players making plays. Jack gives them a better chance to improve. Even if Bosa is a great fit (I don't think he is for our LEO), we still need many pieces.
