My thinking is that if the Bolts stay at 3, they would take either Tunsil or Buckner, leaving Jacksonville with a choice of two of the top 3 defenders we have been discussing all month no matter what Dallas does at 4.

However, if SD deals down, it would likely be to a team that is going to want one of those defenders, minimizing our choices.

A team trades up to a spot to get ahead of a team they think will target a player the trading team wants.

If a team is trading to 3, they are trading ahead of Dallas at 4.

Dallas does not need a guy like Tunsil. They already have a stud LT.

So it makes sense that a team trading up would go after a defender, giving the Jaguars fewer options at 5.
