The untold truth about the SEC's 7 straight national titles

EDIT: This is meant to be a guide to SEC haters. Anyone who thinks I'm actually trying to dispute each title individually needs to take a chill pill.

I have argued for the last 10 years that the SEC is an overrated conference. I have mentioned to SEC fans that they play basically every bowl game at home, that the BCS is rigged for SEC teams to succeed, that they play an unfair amount of BCS games against the Big East (compared especially to B1G teams that travel to California to play Oregon or USC), and most of all, that they STILL have never won the bowl challenge cup, that is given to the conference that has the best bowl record each year.

But every time I bring up the possible over-ratedness of the SEC, I am reminded that the SEC has won the last 7 national titles. So I decided to research the last 7 national titles and come up with an excuse for each and every one, to demean the accomplishments of the SEC.

Let's get started.

2006: Florida crushes Ohio State. Boise State ends the season as an undefeated team that defeated a major conference team, and one loss Florida is national champions? Yeah, right. Boise would have crushed the Gators.

2007: LSU outlasts Ohio State. So LSU loses TWO GAMES including one to Arkansas at home, and their reward is to play Ohio State at home for the championship? Seems a little unfair. How about playing the Buckeyes in Columbus to make things even? Also, USC would have crushed them.

2008: Florida beats Oklahoma. Of course, Florida gets to play in the NC game over Utah. I mean, sure they lost a game at home, and Utah was undefeated, but Utah would get CRUSHED by the SEC, right? WRONG! Utah goes to SEC country and embarrasses Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. Write a speech about that, Tebow.

2009: Alabama beats Texas in the battle of the unbeatens! (besides Boise State, who is once again left out) Great work escaping that dangerous Texas team who played a second string quarterback for almost the whole freaking game! What was that kid's name again? Yeah. My guess? McCoy was payed/blackmailed/threatened by the NCAA, ESPN, and the SEC to fake that injury so Alabama could win. And as for the Broncos? I still believe in the blue turf.

2010: Auburn edges Oregon: I wonder how many games Cam Newton would have been suspended if he played at Ohio State or USC? The NCAA would have probably made those schools vacate the national title. Which is what should happen here. TCU went undefeated too, but without the shenanigans.

2011: In a rematch of the SEC championship, (LSU-Bama) Alabama somehow wins the national championship without even competing in their own conference championship. I guess losing at home means nothing in this conference, because that's just what Alabama did the first time they played LSU. This game was made possible by some questionable officiating in the Iowa State-Oklahoma State game a few weeks prior. I'm not buying it.

2012: Alabama crushes Notre Dame. In a world where you have to be in an "elite" conference to be in the national championship game, Notre Dame, who is not even in a conference, gets in. Easy win for the Tide, as Notre Dame's best player is a middle linebacker who has the same disease as the 6th sense kid. Ohio State finishes the season undefeated, but doesn't get to come beat up on the Irish, because of some NCAA sanctions that wouldn't have been considered if the Buckeyes played in that glory conference from the south.

So there you have it, fellow SEC haters. An argument against every SEC national championship of the past 7 years.
