You could have just said nobody wants to address the questions I asked about rather then deflecting into another question that I think we all already know the answer to. That being, of course they have been using them while no one else was the wiser but now it is illegal in some places, hence why we keep talking about it. Or are you saying it should just be another "Don't Ask, Don't Tell"?

No fun poking intended. They're just easier terms to work with than explaining what a transmale is, or using the (unfairly) loaded term "chosen gender". Most everyone understands the difference between hardware and software, and it seems to be easier to understand without raising emotions to the point that common sense discussion is unattainable.

 

I do, in many ways, question why a group that, for the most part, just wants to be left alone to live as they are is seeking the right to do something that, if they're doing it right, no one would even know they're doing. No one's going to do a "hardware check" before letting someone into the restroom, and last I checked, it's not a crime for a person with male hardware to go into a women's restroom anyway...
