Curt Schilling fired over NC Bathroom law

(This post was last modified: 04-24-2016, 07:19 PM by copycat.)

Quote:Because you aren't being protective of your family.  There's no instances of a transgender person going into the bathroom of their gender identity and molesting someone.  Absolutely NONE.   In states where they allow transgender people to use the bathroom of their gender identity, sexual assault in bathrooms have NOT gone up.    You're trying to protect against an absolute minority of people from a problem that does NOT exist.    This law doesn't protect anyone.

And don't go with that ridiculous "Oh, but someone can dress up as a woman and go into the bathroom and claim they are transgender so they can molest my grandchildren!"  because under YOUR law, the man doesn't even have to dress up to do it, he just has to claim he's a trans-male.  And the man that does that, isn't going to be bothered by the laws in the first place.  "I was going to dress up as a woman, and go into the women's room, but that North Carolina Law makes it impossible!"  (said no child molester ever)
Look I am not trying to be obtuse and I know you are not as well.  What is wrong with taking protective measures against people that will pervert this new found tolerance?  Are you really trying to deny that there are people that would not take advantage of this?

Also. I have asked several times and not one person had answered why should any women be made to feel uncomfortable to make a transgender happy?

Edit:  To your last, why make it easy for them?

At some point you just have to let go of what you thought should happen and live in what is happening.
