Yup, I'm fully aware. It really seems like the show runners just had it out for Stannis.

 

I mean, he may end up getting killed within the first few chapters of TWOW, but he didn't deserve to go down the way he did in the show, at least not in my opinion.

 

They made him into a villain, which I think even the book readers who totally hated book Stannis wouldn't go that far, but whatever.
