I would be upset if GM Dave Caldwell traded down and didn't get a 1st round pick next year (in addition to swapping places in the first this year) & a 2nd round pick this year (or 3rd or 4th if traded down and still inside the Top 10)..

if he gets like an extra 2nd & 3rd but trades out of the Top 10 and doesn't get next year's first.. to me that would be a bad deal...

 

 

Example of good situation...

 

I would be happy if he traded down with Browns or 49ers receiving 7/8th pick in the draft, next year's 1st round pick (both teams wont be that great this year so it'll be another Top10 pick) & this years 2nd & 3rd...

(able to draft Center Ryan Kelly or Nick Martin while still getting a great Corner Vernon Hargreaves III, Eli Apple, Alexander) and a good Defensive Line or LB...

 

The thing about trading down is if you miss out on a grade 90+ player but get two extra 80+ grade players of need it might overall be a good thing (especially since drafting is a gamble & you increase your odds of success with extra guys).
