He didn't know that Jacksonville was along the water... that bothered me a bit to be honest....
Charles Cassey likes him and he knows defensive lineman, but most think that the Cowboys will draft him (he's too much of a need/talent). Then again if you look at Free Agency Jaguars signed a FS (Jalen Ramsey - TaShaun), signed a corner (Prince-Jalen/Vernon), they signed a DT/DE (Malik Jackson-Buckner) but they didn't really address LE (I mean Odrick could play LE or DT and Fowler if healthy will play Leo) but they really didn't address LB (SOLB - Skuta was signed but struggled, and Poz is getting old / injured) - Myles Jack or Floyd They signed Beachum (but hes injured might not be ready by week1 & he was very vague on Luke extension) so if you went by intel from Free Agency alone you would think that Tunsil has the most weight if there (premium position & need & tied for best talent in the draft), or Myles Jack whom could even play SS as a hybrid SOLB like how Seattle uses Kam Chancellor That is why most mock drafts have the Jaguars drafting Myles Jack (they see him as Kam on their scheme or worst case as Bobby Wagner), combined with two meetings with HC & GM and while teams say his knee could mean a short career most feel he will be ready to play week 1 at a high level & that is all they care about... Honestly so much potentially high elite talent (10 players) in this years draft that even trading back a few spots isnt horrible since the team will still get a great guy either way.. unless they gamble with a reach pick |
