If you don't care, then why relegate trans people to a bathroom they're not comfortable using? The world doesn't have the capacity to cater to every one's desire. But somewhere facts need to come into play. Trans people (especially black ones) are attacked and murdered at an alarming rate -- for being themselves. The fact is changes in laws or public opinion is because people are starting to realize this is a victimized group. If they are not a threat to anyone, why force draconian laws or defend arguments which will put them more at risk than they already are?


I'm not saying everyone needs to like them or support them. If you don't get why someone is trans or it weirds you out, that's fine. But if you're going to discriminate against them and use manure arguments to support your position, that's unacceptable. Look at the facts of the debate and ask yourself what impact it really has on your life. I'm guessing none whatsoever.
