Curt Schilling fired over NC Bathroom law

Quote:Here's my issue. If a large portion of the population, let's say 98%, identifies with the gender they have been since birth, why then do we have to change bathroom laws for 2%? It is so shockingly ridiculous. I keep hearing things like feelings, and what people identify with, and comfort levels. What about the feelings, what people identify with, and the comfort levels of the vast majority? It's all backwards anymore.

I hope you have a trans kid some day so you can answer this question yourself. I have shared a story on here about a friend of mine with a trans kid before. It doesn't matter how rare it is. You have a choice to be sympathetic or not. To be educated or not. To ignore the risks this minority endures for being born this way or not. I respect people more who admit they just don't like or get trans people than those who claim a policy of "pee or poo where you feel comfortable" will somehow violate their rights or cause a public risk.
Only a chump boos the home team!
