Great article (by Jason La canfora) about the crybaby known as Sam Bradford
|
Quote: Sam Bradford probably has made the most money in NFL history per win. Though it's understandable Bradford is upset about what transpired regarding the Eagles trade with the Browns, if he's invested his money well, he's in great shape financially. Bradford would be far better off being a total team player with the Eagles. That by itself would increase his trade value. He could have put every dollar he made under his mattress and would be fine - no investing required. He could have put aside half of his earnings to use as fire kindling and toilet paper in case he ever ran out, and he'd be okay. One of the luckiest athletes in the world - to have hit it rich in what (I believe) was the last draft without a rookie wage scale, and then still be landing boatloads of guaranteed money despite a very ho-hum career. |
