I think it's childish people who have no idea what's really going on. I get a kick out of people who boo Goodell because they think he is the one who changes the rules. I also enjoy listening to the people who hate Goodell insult him because he's punishing players. It's like they have no idea that his JOB is to make the NFL Owners money. That's his boss, they are the ones who put him where he is, and the players are the ones who gave him the authority to punish. Do I think that he should be judge jury and executioner? no I do not, However, If the players didn't want him to be then they should've changed it when they had a chance. Also if you don't want him to punish you don't break the rules. I find that most Goodell haters dislike him because of 1 of 2 reasons. 1) They think he's the one who makes the rule changes. 2) They dislike him punishing players. These same people are rarely upset with the player for violating the rules. The haters act like Goodell is sitting in his office writing new rules that everyone must agree with, that's not the case. From my knowledge he's not even able to make league rules without other people involved (league rules being conduct and such). 

 

Is Goodell perfect? nope, but he's doing his job, and like him or hate him he has done a lot to expand the sport.
