What are your 3 safety net players?

#16

Quote:#1.) Jalen Ramsey, Florida State, DB

He was ranked as the most explosive players by Chad Reuter from NFL.com

He wrote the following;

Few defensive back prospects in recent years have come out of college with <a>Ramsey</a>'s combination of aggressive play and pure athleticism. Sure, he looked like quite the explosive athlete at the combine with a 41-1/2 inch vertical and a crazy-good 11-3 broad jump. But his tape shows a tenacity and ultra-confident nature that is necessary to succeed in the NFL. Scouts often refer to defensive linemen converting speed to power when rushing the passer, but it seems like <a>Ramsey</a> does that when lining up a receiver on a screen play or down the sideline. Whether his new team lines him up at corner or safety, <a>Ramsey</a> will certainly make an impact.

He doesn't come with off field problems or questions like you might have with Tunsil or Bosa.  You don't have to worry about whether or not he'll be ready to play by week 1 or suffer another serious re-injury like Myles Jack.

He seems to me to be the safest pick in the draft, especially when you look at the fact that he killed it at the combine.  He's potential hasn't been reached, an NFL Hands coach will work with him.. he'll be special!

Bucs QB Winston said he would be willing to take a pay cut if the Bucs would draft him, that says a lot right there...

#2.) Ezekiel Elliott, Ohio State, RB

I have him at number 2 not because he's a need, because he clearly isn't with Chris Ivory, TJ Yeldon, and shoelace on the roster.  That being said he might be the best blocking HB in the NFL on week 1 & he can run too.  He also is very passionate about winning, and getting as much carries as possible to help his team acheive that.  He is a running back that can take a lot of snaps, and every down back.  He is the only RB worthy of the 1st round but worthy of a Top 10 pick.  Heck he might even been the closest player to Skittles..

#3.) Joey Bosa, Ohio State, DE

I know he didn't run great at the combine, and many see him as a product of great coaching masked by surrounding talent.  They say he's all effort and less natural skill, that he wont have much potential to improve upon, and that his last year was a slump.  When you watch the film on him, you can't help but to think man this guy would be great at LE for the Jaguars...

Nailed it!  My top 3 safety players all went in the Top 5... guess I wasn't the only one who rated them high!

Notice my ranking, the Chargers passed on the best guy in the draft.. wow still shocked!

Almost everyone that posted on here had Ramsey on their list..
