The defense will be better next season theres no doubt about that. I'm dying to see the defense operate but this isn't going to be a top 15 unit off the bat. Just hope that Bradley takes the next step and our defense is at least able to keep us in games early on.
This is one thing that I hope people realize.

 

Bradley has been poor so far, but I hope he works out. Jack kept saying this is where he wanted to be and I believed him, what was his reason? "I love Gus Bradley." Same goes for pretty much all of our picks. Day works in our scheme due to the 3T spot and he can rush the passer all day, Ngakoue is a perfect LEO fit in this scheme, Ramsey is a perfect press corner on the outside in this scheme but would obviously gel in any scheme.

 

Regardless, this draft gave us a lot of potential and these guys wanted to come here most likely because of Gus and this coaching staff. I really hope that with some legit talent on D we can work them up and feel better about Gus because a lot of these guys are obviously great fits on this defense.
