   What helps the Jaguars though is the team's Offense is further along and the team added some key VETERAN Defensive players that should help make the youth transition at least somewhat easier,  relatively speaking.  

 

    When considering everything though,  it's fair to say that 11 wins would be on the high side of what should be expected to happen for the Jaguars in 2016.   But I truly believe it's a realistic number.    A 9 win season would represent major tangible progress.  But if they go 9-7,  you probably will have the feeling this team was close to 11-5.    If the Jaguars only win 8 games,  a Head Coaching change is something that ownership and Dave Caldwell might believe is necessary,  based on the team's talent.

With the veteran free agent acquisitions as well as younger players maturing, I see this defense being MUCH improved.  The rookies just drafted adds to that.

 

My initial thought was that the team needed to finish at least at .500 for Bradley to keep his job.  I do believe that the bar is set higher now.  At the VERY LEAST the team must be above .500 and realistically they need to be around the 10-6 mark for Bradley to be safe.
