I wasn't referring to the Cowboys, but rather the Jaguars. The Cowboys had every intention of drafting Jaylon Smith. His brother is a Dallas Cowboy, and the surgeon that operated on him was a Dallas Cowboy Surgeon.
It should not have been a surprise to any of the other 31 NFL teams that they had drafted him. I think a few teams thought that he might fall to the 3rd round due to the injury. I don't know if the Cowboys drafting Jaylon had anything to do with the Jaguars trading up but watching it, it had felt that way. |
