I don't condone random dudes just waiting in bathrooms. But trans people have been intimidated and attacked in bathrooms to the point they are more apprehensive about going there than straight people. They aren't loitering in bathrooms. They're trying to get in and out as quickly as possible to avoid confrontations. To date I have seen zero instances of a trans person who was NOT the victim in a bathroom incident. If a little girl sees a trans person in the bathroom, there should be nothing a clerk would have to do. Can you guess why? Transgender people are not attacking random people in public bathrooms! They are the only ones being somewhat regularly victimized in bathrooms. So.. that little girl in your scenario will be just fine if/when they encounter a trans person in a bathroom. And I repeat.. 21 states and 250+ cities report NO INCREASE in straight guys attacking women or kids where this policy has already been in place.


So ask yourself.. is this a rational fear or concern?
