Captain America Civil War

Quote:It's current time. Stark somehow knew about Peter and went to visit him and asked Peter if he wanted to help him out- or something along those lines. In the comics Stark is apparently a mentor to a young PP/Spiderman. I haven't read them, this is what I was told. I'm pretty sure that was the result of Marvel's most recent reboot. I don't recall Spider Man having a mentor at all in decades prior. He was the one of Marvel's team-up kings though so there may have been a previous connection that I'm unaware of considering I spent most of the 80s and 90s with my head buried in X-Men comics almost exclusively.
