It's awesome how entire thoughts can be portrayed with just looks and gestures. Both of them have their respective characters down to the letter in terms of action and subtext. I can't help but wonder though what the true basis for this reaction is.

 

In the books Brienne is described as being thoroughly unattractive in addition to being...manly. This actress is by no means ugly, she's just a big woman (BONUS!). So I wonder if her looks are rooted in disdain for Tormund being a "filthy wildling" or more her being awkward because the character has been traditionally spurned by men (Renly aside...but he doesn't count because he like dudes)?
