My health care premium went up only 1% this year. 1%!!! That's the lowest rate increase I've seen for at least a decade.

Well, my premium is much higher as well as my deductible and out-of-pocket expense.  The amount that I pay (as a "middle class citizen") rose up.  Just wait until next year's numbers come in.

Sure visiting and actually living in a place are two different things.  However, I wasn't speaking about living there, I was speaking about talking to people that actually do.  The part in bold pretty much is the problem.

So yes, even though your standard of living is lower and your government is on a unsustainable track, it can't all be bad.     The fact of the matter is, examples like Greece and Venezuela are perfect examples of how socialism would never work in this country.  Having a higher life expectancy accomplishes what?  Live longer in misery?
