Katrina - Again, the actual hurricane wasn't his fault.  The aftermath points more to the current "chocolate city" mayor who happens to be sitting in prison right now.

 

The Iraq War - Based on the intelligence that he was given at the time and authorized by Congress, he did the right thing.

 

The financial meltdown - That was not a direct result of any of his policies, rather policies that were put in place prior.

 

I could go on, and each of your points could be a separate debate.

 

The fact of the matter is, George Bush was exactly the right President at exactly the right time in history.  The alternatives (Gore and Kerry) probably would have been more of a train wreck than our current President.

 

You're absolutely entitled to your opinion.  Bush was a disaster, and historians are already pointing this out.  However you want to try and rationalize it.  9/11 wasn't his fault, but he was asleep at the wheel.  Katrina wasn't his fault, but he was asleep at the wheel.  

 

That should be on is tomb stone:  War Criminal, asleep at the wheel from 2001 - 2009.  

 

Cheny's will just say "War Criminal".  

 

Your analysis of the Iraq war is so full of nothing that I'm questioning either your honesty about how much you remember about the run up to the war or your intelligence for knowing so little about it.  Either way, it's a bad look for you.
