Just rewatched every defensive snap from the 1st half vs the Seahawks, and shockingly Posluszny wasn't the beast on the field a few here want to believe.

 

1.1 - Blocked out of the play on a run.

1.2 - Play went to a different linebacker's gap.

1.3 - Pass went to a different part of the field.

 

2.1 - Gets caught inside on swing pass.

2.2 - Pass went to a different part of the field.

2.3 - Hayes blown out of his fit for a long gain.

2.4 - Bites on playaction and Willson comes open.

2.5 - Blocked by a TE and driven back a few yards, but able to make a tackle for a gain of 4 or 5 yards.

2.6 - Driven way out of the play by #40 who is a RB convert to FB.  Run down to goal line.

2.7 - Bites on playaction and TD pass.

 

3.1 - Another playaction pass.

3.2 - Bites on misdirection and then driven out of the play by #60.

3.3 - Pass to different part of the field.

3.4 - Hayes and Poz end up playing the same zone and both cover the RB, while the pass is completed behind them.

3.5 - Sack

 

4.1 - Bites on the end around.

4.2 - Blocked out of his fit.

4.3 - Run goes to a different gap.

4.4 - Helps finish off a 2 yard run.

4.5 - Pass to different part of the field.

4.6 - Playaction touchdown.  Good coverage by Poz.

 

5.1 - He doesn't get home on blitz and pass is complete.

5.2 - Pass to different part of the field.

5.3 - Makes tackle for no gain or a short loss.  Went unblocked.

5.4 - Turned out by #70 Carpenter and allows 5 yd gain to goal line.

5.5 - Jumps the pile on a run.

 

6.1 - Bites on playaction.  Gets in on tackle 12 yds downfield.

6.2 - Lynch funneled out of bounds for gain of 8.  Poz nearest defender.

6.3 - Driven 5 yards back and decleated by McQuistan.

6.4 - Nonfactor in a run funneled out of bounds.

6.5 - Pass to different part of the field.

6.6 - Pass underneath.  Poz unable to get off Miller's block 12 yds downfield.  Three Jags tie up the ball carrier next to Poz, before Poz is able to bring the carrier down.

6.7 - Cyprien sack/fumble.

 

7.1 - Pass to different part of the field.

7.2 - Pass to different part of the field.

7.3 - Man coverage on Sydney Rice.  Complete and chased out of bounds for a gain of 24.

7.4 - Wilson scrambles out of bounds.  Non-factor.

7.5 - TD Pass.  Non-factor
