Khan has shown considerable patience. An 8-8 record would be a clear sign that the losing is over as this is a "non-losing record," and I'll personally guarantee Gus is safe should he reach 8 wins. I'll risk my mod status with this guarantee. At 7-9 I just don't know as they still might keep him another year on an extremely hot seat. That said, there's no chance Gus is continuing on with another 4 to 5-win season.


 

Saying Gus might stay with 7 wins and will stay with 8 is not the same as suggesting this should be the expectation. That's more the minimal acceptable number. My expectation is a division title with 10 or 11 wins.
