I like Alualu as a role player here, but he's definitely going to be competing for a roster spot this season.

 

Right now there are what I'd consider seven locks along the line. Those are Fowler, Ngakoue, Miller, Jones, Marks, Jackson, and Odrick. That likely leaves three remaining spots for Alualu, Day, Bennett, Ash, Chris Smith, Werner, and all the other remaining linemen to fight over. I'd also consider Day a near lock due to his draft position too, so that's already eight linemen and four players on the roster who play 3T and 5T, which is where Alualu would line up.

 

Maybe they do end up keeping six players at 3T and 5T, but I think there's a good chance it'll come down to Bennett and Alualu fighting for the fifth spot.
