Talks between Broncos and Miller "could get ugly"

The salary cap is not going to go up because players are demanding more money. At some point, the teams have to practice some fiscal sanity. Miller has little leverage and if the Broncos are smart they will realize it.
They should stick to this offer and refuse to negotiate. Is Miller going to sit out the season? Absolutely not. If he decides he wants to eventually go to Free Agency, be prepared for the possibility of the Franchise tag. Or... take the 114 million with 38 million guaranteed. Saints are being awfully stupid with Drew Brees also. |
