I stopped reading after the first one.  Yes without a CCP you can buy a rifle without the three day waiting period, but you still must pass an FBI background check.  That's the same even if you do possess a CCP.

 

What is the definition of an "assault rifle"?  Is it a rifle that has a pistol grip?  Maybe one that has a flash suppressor?  Perhaps a rifle with a magazine capable of holding "x" number of rounds?  Or is it one capable of being fully automatic (which is actually illegal)?

 

Non-educated people tend to label a firearm as an "assault" weapon without knowing the difference.

 

An AR-15 is NOT an assault rifle.
