Yeah the complaints about "teleporting" are annoying. There is obviously time skips occuring.

 

I think Varys basically said he had a rough childhood so you are not far off there.

 

Agree on Rhaegar/Lyanna. To many people held him in high regard. It never fit well. 

 

What got me was the different sail shapes. For example, all of the ships from Highgarden (aside from being the customary green with the yellow rose) are triangular. The Dornish sails are orange and Dany's are black. I didn't notice until watching the episode a second time mind you...but the green triangular sails are what made me pay more attention to that particular detail.
