I too have lost alot of weight (22 lbs so far) in just a few months mostly by diet change. Near the end of March, I quit drinking any kind of soda/pop, drastically dropped eating anything with alot of sugars (cookies,candies,etc), and eating a lot more salad and vegetables.


I also do abdominal exercises 2-3 times per week, and some occasional weight lifting when time permits. However, I'm confident most of my success so far is due to the dietary change.


For me, "Sugar is the Devil".
I did much the same. I still take in a bunch carbs at breakfast but lunch and dinner are now as low carb as I can get them. I used to eat rice or pasta with almost every meal in the evening so dinner could easily be over 100 grams of carbs just by itself. Now I try to eat fewer than 100 grams in my entire day.

 

I haven't been doing much exercise with it though, but once F1 qualifying ends later today I'm going out to buy a rowing machine. I'm hoping to get 15 to 30 minutes of exercise in each day.
