That type of speech smacks of ignorance. Most middle eastern citizens just want to live their lives in peace. To think there is no solution but kill or be killed is ridiculous, and quite frankly, beneath you, flsprt.

 

Catholic v Protestant was vicious and bloody. It was also short lived, fairly recent, and mostly over by the time this country came into being. The "society" that you're defending believes that the whole world is under their sovereignty, and they have been trying to make that a reality for 1,300 years now.  Our existence usurps their sovereignty, but as I said, people in the West haven't the same basis for their worldview and so they dismiss or "reject" it. Well, reject it all you want while you are safe, but will you still reject it when the knife is at your own throat? I just hope, for your sake, that it's not too late.
