The news cycle right now has flipped on trump, there's no way to ignore that fact. But you can't blame the media for covering the current story. It's what they do...


It's really on trump to pivot the topic. He's acted stupidly on this topic. He didn't have to respond at all,and the story would have died by Saturday...


I remember a couple weeks ago having a similar conversation about another dumb thing trump stepped into and wouldn't let die... Oh yeah, the plagiarism thing.


All he had to do then was just concede it and move on. Instead he kept stepping in it and the story lasted four days!!! He's doing the same thing here. He has no idea how to be president. There are certain things you don't escalate.


He can't de-escalate even the easiest skirmishes. And you want this guy to handle our foreign policy and the hard issues here at home?!? No way...

Do I want Trump? No. I don't want Hillary either. If I had to pick between the two I would pick Trump because he isn't a career politician, doesn't owe favors around the world and at home (or at least not nearly as many here) and would tell the establishment their time is up. I fear the media under Hillary will be controlled and any real news will be squashed. Obama was going to have the most transparent Presidency of all time and was the least transparent. I can't even imagine how bad it will be with Hillary.
