How the money was paid was in cash, using foreign currency.


It was paid to a nation that we have had an adversarial relationship with for 3 decades, but had created an opening to potentially normalize relations with.


This money along with 350 billion of other assets were being released back to Iran..


All part of a detante... I've had to educate you on how post convention bumps work, do you need some insight on high level diplomatic negotiating as well?
