The first team defense looked great, and I mean GREAT. I don't foresee problems with the unit this season. If Gus can't make this group a top 10 level group then he needs to be shown the door. The talent is there at ever level of the defense now.

 

The offensive line looked okay except for LT, hopefully beachum can be what we've been hoping he'll be.

 

Myers just needs to go. Time for that experiment to end.

 

Bortles needs to tighten up his game still. He didn't make any head scratching decisions that I noticed, but he still needs to work on being in command of where he's going with the ball and knowing when the optimal time to pull the trigger is. He threw late on a couple of passes, I thought, and also wasn't great on his placement with some throws.
